“The Voice of Silence”
Every beginning has its story.
When we set out on the path of Urme, we searched not only for aesthetics, but for roots.
Our story begins where Armenian handcraft speaks.

Marash embroidery is a unique fusion of artistry and mastery—created by Armenian women and carefully preserved from foreign appropriation.
It expresses “the voice of silence,” just like our collection.
This intricate and meticulous technique was born in the Cilician Armenia and passed down through generations, becoming more than decorative art - it became a symbol of identity.
Enduring the test of time, these patterns stand out with their complex cross-stitched forms, often symbolizing fertility, life, and eternity.
In its first collection, Urme presents the legacy of Marash woven stitch - not as a memory of the past, but as a reinterpreted present.
